We drove halfway to Raleigh the first night and then went the rest of the way on Friday. Friday night, we hung out with my family at Michael's apartment and went to eat at Red Robin.
Saturday morning, we went to eat breakfast, then Michael took my parents and me on a tour of his school while Hannah Kate and Wesley went to the hotel to take a nap.
After Michael's graduation, we went to eat and then we continued on our trip.
We stayed the first two nights in a hotel (at different places) and then with friends the rest of the trip.
Our first stop on the friend tour was to visit the Cozorts. We had only met them very briefly at PTP, but Edy and I are friends on Facebook and she invited us to stay with them. It turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the trip.
James and Hannah Kate played well together (most of the time!)--who knew Swiffers were so fun?!
From this point on, Hannah Kate had new toys and new friends to play with everywhere we stayed. She didn't know what to do when we got home!

Mother's Day
Next, we drove to Virgina to visit our friends Brandi and Geoff (we used to all worship together in Murfreesboro).
Hannah Kate had more friends to play with. Fun times!
Wesley was supposed to be "watching" Hannah Kate in the playroom.
Since sitting in this doll pack n play, Hannah Kate thinks every laundry basket or large bag is a "seat."
This was first thing in the morning Tuesday before we left!
Tuesday, we drove a nice long 6 hour drive to Johnson City. Hannah Kate did great. She slept, read books, and watched Baby Signing Time on the iPad (please note the awesome high tech hanger (ahem, rubber band) we have holding the iPad to the headrest).
It was Gospel Meeting week at Elizabethton, so that was perfect. We ate supper there Tuesday and Wednesday nights and got to visit with our church family!
Hannah Kate drew a crowd. :)
We stayed with our awesome friends Dempsey and Charlotte. Fun times. Hannah Kate loves them!
Wednesday morning, Hannah Kate and I went to visit my old school.
Then, we went to hang out at the Duncans'.
On Thursday morning, before we left, the Pinedos came over and had lunch with us.
Fun times!
