God's Plan for the Salvation of Man

Our goal in life is to live in such a way that we may have a home in Heaven for eternity.   Man says many different things about what we must do to be saved.  The only way that we can truly know what is pleasing to God is by reading His Word.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

If you have any questions about this, we would love to study the Bible with you. ~Wesley & Denise

To be saved we must:

Hear the Gospel. "How shall they call on him whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14).

Believe. "And without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him" (Hebrews 11:6 - also Acts 8:37; Mark 16:16; John 8:24).

Repent of our sins. "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent." (Acts 17:30 - also: Luke 13:3,5; Acts 2:38; Mark 10:15).

Confess Jesus as Lord. "Behold here is water; What doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, if thou believeth with all thy heart thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (Acts 8:36-37 - also Romans 10:9).

Be baptized for the remission of sins. "And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38 also: 1Peter 3:21; John 3:3-5; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-8; Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:26-27; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 8:34-39; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 4:5).

Remain faithful and live a Christian life. "...be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." (Revelation 2:10 also: 1 Peter 2:9 ; Matthew 24:13; Luke 9:23).
