Busy busy

We've had a very busy but blessed week! We had our gospel meeting with Brad Harrub Sunday thru Wednesday (but we wish it had lasted longer!). Wesley took off work Monday & Tuesday (he already had Wednesday off) so he could be at the gospel meeting. East Side was blessed with an awesome meeting & the thoughts brought forth from Bro. Harrub have encouraged us & fired us up to do what is best for our children who are being raised in an anti-God world. We had a picnic lunch Wednesday with the Harrubs & several other young families & it was great! He answered questions each evening after the lesson & had a great answer about homeschool vs public or private school & about courtship. I had really hoped he would do a lesson about courtship, but I think East Side got exactly what we needed. Wednesday night after services, our group of friends was discussing the topic of courtship & there were more questions than our viewing of 19 Kids & Counting could answer :) So, we kidnapped Bro. Brad & had our own little Q&A on courtship that lasted until 10pm. :) I'm thankful for Christian friends who seek to do what will lead their children to Heaven!
This week has made us really look forward to Polishing the Pulpit!! There are several families from our congregation who are now making plans to attend. I'm praying that we will have a great group from there attend & am just really excited about the sessions & seeing our friends from other congregations there!! August is too far away! I made our room reservation yesterday....let's go!!
Hannah Kate is doing great. Monday was a rocky night for her at the meeting but since the power was out at our building, we were at another congregation that has a cry/training room. It was wonderful! She did great the next two nights though!
Here are pictures from our impromptu courtship talk--the best part of the meeting!!! If you would like some material on this topic, I have some things Bro. Brad emailed us & he will be sending us a cd of the talk he's doing for the youth in Missouri this weekend. Just let me know!
