Ultrasound & The Best Little Cowgirl

We have had a very eventful day! Ultrasound at 8:30 this morning, stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get food for the dinner before the gospel meeting tonight, came home & went out to check cows. Hannah Kate was a hoot! We were looking for Jeans the cow & HK was yelling "JEANSIE! JEANSIE" til we found her, then we moved some cows, chased some calves, tagged some calves, etc. That all took about two hours-Hannah Kate had a blast. She had a piece of grass in her hand & Wesley was going kind of fast on the four-wheeler chasing a calf & HK was all relaxed saying "gass, weaf gass gass" (grass & leaf)-completely oblivious to what was going on. FUN times on Wesley's day off! (& then after we got in, we had lunch, HK got a bath & down for a nap, & I worked on food for tonight--I need a NAP!)

Micaiah weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces (which was Hannah Kate's birth weight at 28w1d)-50thish percentile.
His heart rate was 136.  He had some funny sounding rhythm to his heart beat and scared us for a minute, but the ultrasound tech watched for a second and realized he had the hiccups. :)

"YAY!"

Being a cowgirl is hard work-we thought she was going to fall asleep on the way back!
